We predominantly use White Rose Scheme of work as well as other resources to give children a creative and inspiring maths curriculum; using small steps to scaffold children's learning and ensuring appropriate challenge for everyone. We cover different mathematical areas each term; revisiting topics so that they are securely embedded and built upon. (The overview of Maths units are below.)

We spend lots of time building strong number skills. These essential core skills lay a solid foundation for more complicated learning later on.

In Year 4 as part of nationwide assessment, children will carry out a Multiplication online test in June - see the Parents' Guide below.
