10 children from Year 4, 5 and 6 were invited to take part in a special history workshop all about WW1. All of the children were totally absorbed and we all learnt lots of new facts ( .... even the teachers! )

We created human trenches, learnt about conscription, drills, life at the front line and even how to detect mustard gas by a smell test.  We were taught how to spot the enemy and how the First World War was started. Thanks to Church Langton for hosting and organising this morning - we all had a great time.
